Entry from Thursday 2nd September 2021

Dear Parents/Carers,

We would like to welcome you all back to the start of the new Academic Year.

Thank you for your support and patience whilst trialling a new entry system today. Whilst it is a system that has worked previously, we recognise that it is a change back from the COVID protocols and will take a while to embed.  As such, we are going to slightly alter our approach with regards to morning entry to speed this up.

From Thursday 2nd September 2021 entry will be as follows:

8:45am to 8:50am – parents of pupils in Reception and Nursery are to walk their children up the path to the Nursery outdoor area. If these pupils have siblings, they can come in with the parents and then be dropped at the hall doors.

Once parents have dropped their children off, they are to leave the school site by crossing the astroturf and leaving via the left hand side of the pathway rather than gathering on site.

Between 8:50am and 9:00am the gates will remain open for all other pupils to walk up the right hand side of the pathway following a one way system around the Oak Room and into the hall doors before heading into class.

If parents choose to accompany their children they must drop off their child at the hall doors and then leave immediately via the one way system anticlockwise around the Oak Room before crossing the astroturf and leaving down the left hand side of the path.

Please do not congregate on site. Should you have a query or information to pass on, you can continue to use the contact us email address, phone into the academy after 9.00am or request a phone call from our Community Liaison Office, Mrs Osborne (who will be positioned by the Oak Room).

Kind regards and thank you for your constructive feedback and continued support.
