Thank you @greenfields_cps for hosting the KS1 Multiskills festival where Oaks Yr1 and 2 were able to enjoy taking part in a variety of activities. Much fun was had by all!

Oaks Primary Academy are very proud of this football team and all the work they’ve put in. Having never won a match before, they won 6 out of their 7 games today to reach the final against Greenfields! Well done do Greenfields who won the final 2-1.
In the June torrential rain, Oaks Primary Academy netball team fought with steely determination through to the final. After extra time and a penalty shoot off, they lost by a goal. Congratulations and well done!

Europa Cup Winners at the Oakwood Park Volunteer Sports Day. Very well deserved. Special mention to one of our Y5 pupils who was presented GK of the Tournament for demonstrating amazing agility and GK skills!
Fabulous result, losing finalists in the Oakwood Park Grammar School Volunteer Sports Day. Very proud of their skills and sportsmanship.

Term 4 2019
Y6 joining Kent Phoenix AFC for a training session and match. It gave them the opportunity to demonstrate their skills learnt over the past 2 months on an official junior pitch.

Oaks Primary Academy’s first ever squash festival. What an exciting experience, and already showing amazing skills.
Year 3 are very fortunate to have Steve Franks, Kent Squash coach for U11s, come and deliver 6 sessions to introduce them to the different skills in squash.
Year 5 have been lucky enough to have a fitness session led by EX PROFESSIONAL MMA FIGHTER AND 2016 BRITISH POWERLIFTING CHAMPION, one of our parents, Mr Dominic Plumb. Thank you for sharing your expertise!
We are very fortunate in having Charlton Athletic Community Trust delivering ‘The Joy of Movement’ programme promoting the importance of healthy eating and exercise to Yr 4 & 5 for 6 weeks.
Term 2 2018
Good start to the building of the new KS2 football team at the U11 National League football tournament. Great experience playing at The Maidstone Gallagher football stadium.
Thank you to Greenfields for yet another successful sporting event. Our first ever Girls football team have had an amazing day and are already asking when the next event is!

Leigh Academies Trust Primary Sports Day
We had a fabulous day celebrating sport in Dartford, competing against all other primary schools in the Trust and we came away with an amazing result – 2nd place!
The events that took place at the LAT Primary Sports Day were:-
Field Events – everyone took part in these:
- Chest Push
- Standing Long jump
- Triple Long Jump
- High Stepper
- Obstacle race -4 people
- 50m race – everybody
- 50 + 50 relay – 6 people
- 100 + 100 relay – 6 people
- 50m continuous relay – everybody
- Dancing was led by Sports Leaders from The Leigh Academy in between races and lunch.
Olive Dining provided free lunches.
