School Dog

We have some very special news to share with you all!

On Wednesday we had the pleasure of meeting Nala. She is a six year old chocolate labrador who is carrying our school puppy! She is expected to deliver our puppy in a few weeks and on Wednesday she came to Oaks to meet all of us. We are very lucky at Oaks as our pup will become our trained working dog as we are about to start our journey on The Dog Mentor training programme with Jenny Duckworth and Kerry Jewis.

As Nala is understandably getting very tired, we also had a visit from Lucy the black labrador who is a trained working school dog and works in many Primary Schools with Nala across Kent. There is definitely an excited buzz around Oaks at the moment, especially from Mrs Dunn as she will be the pup’s human mummy. Here are some photos of Nala and Lucy’s first visit to Oaks… we will keep you posted with news as our latest addition to Oaks arrives!

Nala was especially tired after her visit… it’s a tough life Nala!
