Reporting COVID-19 Cases over the Christmas period

Dear Parents/Carers,

We would like to begin by thanking you all for your support during the final weeks of term, ensuring that your child has continued with their learning, either online, through the packs that you received or by taking part in different activities at home. This has been acknowledged and appreciated by all of our staff as we know it has been a challenging time for our whole Oaks’ community. For any of you who have been unwell, or have family members ill, we send our best wishes to you all for a  speedy recovery.

As we break for Christmas today, Friday 18th December at 1:30pm, we hope that our school community remains safe and healthy over the Christmas period. We know that your child has not been attending face to face lessons in school but we do ask that you do the following to support us:

If any pupil or family member receives a positive result between 19th December and 4th January, please report it to the Trust using the following link:

In doing so, this allows us to support our Oaks’ families through this challenging time and also to prepare accordingly for our return to school on January 4th 2021.

Thank you for your well wishes to our staff who have been unwell at this time. We are pleased to say that all of our staff are on the mend and will use this well-deserved Christmas break to rest and recover.

We are aware of parents sending messages on social media about our staff illnesses. Please avoid doing this as it adds unnecessarily to the anxiety of both families and staff.

Official news will always come from Oaks Primary Academy either in emails, letters or our newsletters.

From everyone at Oaks Primary Academy, we hope that you and your families have a safe, festive and Merry Christmas.  We look forward to seeing you all in 2021!
